Certified Nutrition Specialist® Exam & COVID-19

Are you planning to sit for the Certified Nutrition Specialist® exam? The BCNS recently partnered with Iso-Quality Testing, Inc. and now has the ability to offer hundreds of testing centers across the country, and the world, so that candidates won't need to travel. Certification Examinations for Nutrition Specialists℠ are still held twice a year in June and December. The next exam is being held Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 9am-1pm (local times). The application deadline is April 3, 2020.

Please refer to the Iso-Quality Testing, Inc. website for updates and developments regarding scheduled exam dates and cancellations due to COVID-19. The June 2020 CNS exam logistics will be determined by Iso-Quality Testing’s company-wide policies.

We will do everything we can to pro-actively communicate any updates regarding the June CNS exam as we get them.

Personalized Nutrition 2020 & COVID-19

PN 2020

We remain hopeful that the ever-increasing and worldwide response to COVID-19, including the meeting and travel restrictions now being imposed, will help to prevent the rate of the outbreak and spread of the virus. We have no way of knowing what the health and travel landscape will look like this fall, but we remain hopeful that this time will allow for more significant containment of COVID-19, as well as a greater restoration of peace and normalcy.

The ANA remains committed to hosting our in-person annual conference, Personalized Nutrition 2020, as planned November 10-13, unless there is an official travel or health restriction placed in Chicago, or as other details emerge that we believe are cause for us to postpone or alter the conference plan. If circumstances force us to shift from an in-person conference to an online offering, we will communicate those details as they become available.

We have adopted a revised cancellation policy, whereby we have substantially reduced cancellation fees and delayed registration cost increases this year. If the conference does not take place in-person, registration fees will be fully refunded or may be applied to the cost of the online offering.
