Doreen Saltiel practiced interventional cardiology for more than 20 years. She completed her cardiology fellowship at Walter Reed and served 14 years on active duty in the Army, culminating as the Chief of Cardiology at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and the Southeast Region Cardiology Consultant. She also completed advanced fellowship training in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from Metabolic Medicine Institute (MMI) and MMI's advanced certifications in Cardiovascular Health and Endocrinology. She has also served as Medical Consultant to MMI and Co-Director of Graduate Education, Program in Integrative Medicine, George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she remains an adjunct faculty member in Integrative Medicine. She holds a Medical Degree from New York Medical College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
