Parker Hyde

PhD

Parker Hyde is a research scientist at The Ohio State University. He received his M.S. in Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University, studying human performance and body composition. His doctoral work at The Ohio State University with Dr. Jeff Volek. Parker focused on sports nutrition, supplementation, human performance and body composition testing. He has published a textbook chapter on exercise testing and training for individuals with Cerebral Palsy.

His current primary research emphasis is focused on the potential use of carbohydrate-restricted metabolic therapies in combination with current standard of care treatment regiments for the treatment of metastatic cancer. He is also actively involved in research involving human performance and precision nutrition for the tactical and performance athlete. Parker holds certifications for National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), as well as the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN).
