Mary Leopold is a registered pharmacist and received her education at the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1980 and a Doctor of Pharmacy in 1984. She was privileged to work with the 1984 Olympic Games as a member of the pharmacy team located at the USC Olympic Village Polyclinic. Mary enjoyed her many years as a practitioner in both hospital and retail pharmacy settings in Los Angeles and is now retired.
An auspicious meeting in Los Angeles over thirty years ago with Diana Noland, MPH, RDN, IFMCP, initiated and fueled Mary’s interest in Integrative Medicine and Nutrition. She found the supportive science so compelling it changed her life path. Mary has been an active member of American Nutrition Association since 2018.
Mary continues the Leopold family legacy of community involvement supporting education and leadership in her adoptive city of Savannah, Georgia, with Leopold’s Ice Cream, an over 100-year-old Savannah institution.
